Top Five Haunted Places to Visit In California

Hi everyone! 안녕하세요!

Today is a new day in history! Starting from the president of the United States is now Trump… dear god help us. Korean Pop is making it’s way around the world, Hillary gave up, what a uneventful year let me say!

Anyways, I’m going to talk about the top five haunted places to go to! It is one of my favorite places to visit, so if you guys like to hike or go to places you might have been before tune in! I will include address’s, pictures and my own experiences there! Enjoy!

  1.  Museum Of Death:

Located: Museum of Death, 6031 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, CA 90028

Now I went to the Museum of Death back in January. At first I was very spooked out, because who wants to go to a Museum of Death?! Well, my friends had convinced me to go because they really wanted to see what was inside. Now warning, if you don’t like gore, then don’t go. Inside they have very graphic photos of dead bodies, serial killers, celebrities. They even have brains, dead baby’s, dead animals inside! I know, I know it sounds crazy, but it wasn’t that bad as it seemed! If you turn away from the gore, then you will be fine. I’m very screamish with gore, but If you look away you can be fine! So anyone who loves to know about death or is interested in dead celebrities or even serial killers, go see it!

Price: 15 dollars.

2. The abandoned Grifith Park Zoo

Located: Griffith Park, 4730 Crystal Springs Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90027

I went to this a year ago, right before Halloween. To say the least, I am never going back! When my friends and I arrived there I immediately felt A off vibe! I felt like I was being watched the whole time I was there, I kept looking behind me and was very paranoid. To say the least I had a reason to be scared! I heard whispers around me, and felt cold. My friends and I went inside abandoned building and had graffiti all over! We saw a couple of kids doing graffiti, which we ignored and continued to walk. As we were making our way back down we heard footsteps run down too! It was those two kids that had graffiti and low and behold! Cops were chasing after them! I wanted to get the hell out of there cause I knew something bad was going to happen! And I was right! But if you have the guts and are energized because it is a hike then fill free to go.

3.  The Cecil Hotel

Located: Stay on Main Hotel, 640 South Main Street, Los Angeles, CA 90014

Now this place gave me the chills. The backstory of The Cecil is that a girl named Elise had disapeered and was last seen in this hotel! She had a room and everything, but she was a missing person. People suspected that she went back to Canada (home country), but some say that she got kidnapped. Shortly after residents in the hotel started to complain that the water was coming out black and tasted foul. The hotel thought it was just rusty pipes so they just told them not to drink from the water, soon after people begged for them to check the water because they were disgusted. When the staff went to go check the water tank, which needed a lot of staff to lift the lid, they were shocked and appalled when they saw the body of Elise! She was dead, and naked. Police shortly came and removed the body and questioned the residents and the staff. There is no way she got get the lid open by herself because it was to heavy, plus she needed a key.

A little while later, a video was released that showed Elise standing in the Elevator talking to someone or something, she was by herself. We see her kinda jumpy and looks like she is playing a game. If you want to take a look here it is!

Elise Lam Elevator
I saw the video and was super creeped out. So when I visited The Cecil, which they changed their name to The Stay In Hotel after the scandal, I found out about the history, two serial killers were staying there in the past and murdering prostitues in their room, Elizabeth Short (The Black Dahlia) was last seen at the Cecil. No wonder it was on my list! Go if you dare!

4.  The Queen Mary

Location: 1126 Queens Hwy

Long Beach, CA 90802

United States

I went here about three times in a row, one for fun. One for Halloween, and one for winter. Though it isn’t that scary, it is still spooky about what happened on the boat. There has been at least 7 deaths on this boat! Also it is the sister boat of The Titanic. If that doesn’t freak you out, then I don’t know what will. But it’s a beautiful site, and is super historical. It even has princess Diana’s dress there! Very fun to take pictures!

4. The Roosevelt Hotel

Location: The Hollywood Roosevelt, 7000 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90028

We all knew this was coming! The Roosevelt has to be one of the scariest areas to be at. I heard so many stories about ghost haunting the place, seeing Marylin Monroe in the mirror, hearing knocks on the door, feeling cold in warm places, getting tugged, seeing shadows. It screams that this place is super haunted. My stepdad had stayed there once with his friends and he said never again will he stay there because it was the scariest place he has been to! He didn’t even stay the whole night! He left in the middle of the night cause it was to scary! Now my stepdad isn’t a scaredy  cat, he is pretty tough. So I believe it when he tells me that it was super scary!

5. Tunnel in San Diego

Location: hidden (don’t want to give out this address, need to find it yourself lol, but it’s on google lol)

Last but not least! We have a Haunted Tunnel in San Diego! I have personally never been here, but I have friends in San  Diego that tell me that this is the scariest place, it’s quite a hike to get there but it is worth it! The story is that a girl was waking on the street and got hit by a drunk driver and died on impact, now it says that the girl haunts the tunnel that was near the street she had died. People reported of hearing a girl cry or hearing a girl scream and some car running on gas! I have a video you should check out about this tunnel!

This place would give me the creeps and I would personally be very weary to go there!

Honey Butter Fried Chicken

Yesterday, I decided I going to make something so good that my family is going to be blown away. I already love to cook and I had made a few dishes before, but this dish I have never tried to make before. I’m already familiar with making Korean dishes, but this was a challenge because I don’t really like to make fried chicken. Why? Well I’m prone to getting burned, no matter how much I hide from the sizzling, it always ends up burning me.
Guess what? It burned me! Well it was worth it because my family loved the meal I had served. I decided to take pictures of the process of my cooking. All the burns I had was worth it!

I wondering if you guys want the ingredients? If you do then I will supply you with a website that I used to make it. I totally recommend this website for Korean dishes because she the Queen Korean Mom. She is the best! Anyways, I had fun cooking and hoping to be cooking so more! If you want I’ll show you guys my other cooking? I have plenty more pictures to show!

Thanks for reading this!

Nighty Night

The Spector of darkness lurking in the air,

Gunshots giving the boys a scare.

They fleed with all their might,

Hoping to find the light.

The sound of footsteps pounding on the floor,

Hoping the other team will not score.

The boys will to live is written on their faces,

The other team was like a deck of cards full of aces.

The wind weeping through their hair,

The boys thought this wasn’t fair.

“There’s only two of us and four of them!” Said Scrawny,

“Don’t worry Scrawny.”

Not one, not two, but three gunshots came in view,

Hitting Scrawny, he knew it was time to say adieu.

He fell to the floor with a thud,

Who knew he had so much blood?

“C’mon Scrawny get up.”

Scrawny held his hand “I drank the death cup”.

The sound of footsteps getting closer,

While Scrawny’s heart rate was slower.

He knew he was done.

“Go now! Go run!” Scrawny pleads,

He get’s up and says “It’s our trust deed.”

“Goodbye old friend.”,

Scrawny saw him run till he transcend.

All the memories he shared is right before his eyes,

Did he find the light?

Who knows? It was just another cold night.

Hi Guys! Wonder what you thought of this poem! What do you think this is about?

Blaqhaus

Recently I went to a restaurant called Blaqhuas that is famous for their burgers. It was my first time going there and I will be honest, I tend to eat at places that I know and tend to be a little judgmental with places I have not been before. It is one my worse traits, but being judgmental about where to eat isn’t that bad, right? Well, when we first arrived at, I was being skeptical, because where the restaurant was located.

The area isn’t that good, but it is tolerable. Plus, how can i judge a restaurant by the area it is based in. It’s like judging a book by a cover. I know, I know. I did say i am a judgmental person when it comes to eating areas, but i gave them the benefit of the doubt. I noticed when my mother and my friends and I started approaching the front door, I noticed the lack of people inside. Maybe, because it was a Sunday or it was already getting late. Either way my mom and my friends were eager to get inside, while I was being observant.

A nice waitress asked us if we wanted to sit outside or inside, because it was so cold we decided to sit on the inside. My skeptics soon resided when I took a good look around the restaurant, where I was sitting. The restaurant had really good lighting, because the whole place was filled with huge, beautiful windows. Towards the back of the restaurant there was this wooden frame that had pictures of what I assumed to be past customers. Then to the far left of the frame there was this black shelf that held all types of board games. Like Jenga, Dominos, Candy Land, Life, Sorry, and many more.

When the waitress came and asked us what we wanted to drink, she said that they have a special drink for that day. It was mint and mango lemonade, now it sounded wonderful. So I took her up on that offer. I got mango mint lemonade, while everyone else got water or sprite. When the waitress came back with our drinks, my eyes widened with a very beautiful yellow drink. I was so happy i picked this drink, before I could drink it I wanted to get good pictures to show you guys! A few minutes later we ordered what we wanted and I couldn’t help but laugh at all the names that were given for their food. This is by far the most amused I have ever been in a restaurant. My friends and I decided to play a couple of games, and low and behold I picked Jenga.

Soon after, the intense nail bitting game of Jenga. Our food had arrived. My friends and I had ordered the same burger called The Hangover, while my mom had a Californacation which is a salad. The food was so good that it is one of my top burger joints right next In n’ Out. The waitress was super sweet and made me love the place even more. The service was excellent! The food was great! I recommend this to everyone who loves burgers or to just try something new.

So what I learned is to not be so picky with restaurants and it is so good to try something new. Always have a open mind, you never know when a new restaurant can become one of your favorites

The Man in the Hospital Gown.

Hello, Annyeonghaseyo, Everyone!

Welcome and Happy free candy day! Today is when people can dress up in costumes without getting weird glances and stares and not having the cops getting called on you. Well, unless you were one of those scary clowns that would chase people and scare the living daylights out of them. Then yes, you deserved to get the cops called on you.

But, anyways because it is Halloween, i decided for this post to share my eerie scary story. First before i start, if you want to get really spooked out and get into the halloween spirit. I suggest to read this alone and with the lights off. Also what can help is to turn on that scary music, trust me it would be a thousands times scarier. Here’s is scary music link to provide you satisfactory.

Beware Scary Music!

So sit back and relax and enjoy some popcorn or candy while reading this.

Now let me start off by saying, i don’t know what it is with ghosts, but they are attracted to me. I used to not believe in ghosts, until i started seeing weird things. Of course it started of small like feeling cold all of a sudden or seeing a figure, then i started to hear whispers of my name or feeling something touch me when I’m asleep. Now lets get on with the story.
Have you ever regretted making fun of something? Well after this experience I sure of hell did. It was back in 2014 when my mom and my stepdad and sister would all go out somewhere and stay at my house home alone. It’s a teenager thing where we like to be alone and not go out all the time. Every Saturday they would have a scary marathon on the ID channel and I would always look forward to watching the marathon alone. One day I was watching this show you may know  called “Celebrity Ghost Story”.

Specifically in this episode it started to get really scary, now i’m not the one to get scared easily, but during the episode I was watching, I was getting the feeling like I was being watched. During the episode I would constantly check behind me or around my living room. Of course no one was there because I was home alone, but I still had that chill feeling someone was watching me.

Trying to ignore the feeling, I continued to watch the scary story. Because I was scared I decided to make fun of the story that was being told. “Yeah right, this story is as fake as Santa” or “Ghosts aren’t real”. Is what I did say. I kept insulting the story and would laugh at the acting. Finally, the episode ended and my family was home. My mom hates this kind of stuff, so i’d never told her I was watching paranormal stories or she would kill me.

The rest of the day I spent with my sister. I decided to tell her about the story that I saw and how it gave me the chills. During the story, I started to get the chills again but quickly ignored the feeling. When we went to bed, (my sister and I used to share a room), I started feeling that same feeling of being watched. Closing my eyes and ignoring the feeling once more I soon fell asleep.

Suddenly, I remember waking up because I heard footsteps in my room. I slowly stood up and looked around my room. I first looked to my sister and she was knocked out, so the feet pandering on the wood floor wasn’t her. I looked at the clock near me and it read 3:25 Am. In this moment I knew I messed up. Those who don’t know what is the big deal about it being 3. Well 3am is supposedly the time where the ghost and witches wants to either 1. Murder your ass. 2. Scare the living life out of you.
As I saw it was three, i silently screamed. I widened my eyes when I felt the chills again. Now I knew this time that there is in fact someone looking at me. I turned my heads towards my bedroom door and jumped when I saw a old man. It felt like I was staring at him for hours, I didn’t scream because I was in shock. The old man was crouched over and had a big nose. He wore a hospital gown that was blue and white and he was bald. His eyes were staring at me, and his smile… he looked like he was taunting me.

I finally got a grip and turned to look at my sister. She was still sleeping, I didn’t understand how she didn’t wake up, but then again she is a deep sleeper. I started to whisper my little sisters name, hoping she would wake up. I then heard my floor creak and quickly looked back and the old man was still staring at me. “Go away.” I calmly said and in a blink of an eye he ran towards me.

Now I kid you not this actually happened, I’m not liar and sure of hell don’t lie about scary things. Anyways, back to the story.

Before I could scream, he quickly put his hand on my mouth and kept me quiet. Till this day I get chills just thinking about him on top of me. I remember trying to wiggle out of his grasp, but he was strong. His force was, I quickly closed my eyes and silently prayed, what felt like hours of him on top of me, was only seconds. I felt a sudden pressure lifted off of my mouth and my chest, I slowly opened my eyes and the old man was no where to be seen. To say the least, I didnt sleep at all after that. In the morning I told my sister what happened and she was terrified.

Suddenly, she said that she had a pain on her back when she woke up. I decided to look at her back and I remember gasping and seeing scratches on her back.
Yeah, I make sure not to make fun of ghosts, or play with them anymore.

Well I hoped you guys enjoyed the story! Trust me, i have a lot more. But i’ll keep for another time. Anyways, I won’t leave you empty handed. Here are links to scary stories, make sure to play the music in background.
